SVNIT (Sardar Vallabhbaai National Institute of Technology) invite applications for filling the vacancies for the post Assistant Professors  and Assistant Professors  for Contract Basis in various categories Last date for applications is 22nd of October 2012.

Details for the number of vacancies for the different Departments:

1. Assistant Professors

   Physics-1 Vacancies
   Chemistry-2 Vacancies
   Chemical Engineering-3 Vacancies
   Applied Mechanics-4 Vacancies
   Computer Engineering-10 Vacancies
   Electronic Engineering-12 Vacancies
   Civil Engineering-12 Vacancies
   Electrical Engineering-13 Vacancies
   Mechanical Engineering-24 Vacancies

Qualification Details : – Applicants should have completed Ph.Din Engineering with First Class in BE/B.Tech & Masters Degree in related Branch of  Engineering/Technology related discipline from any recognized Institution or University with at least 60% marks .

Salary (Pay Details):  Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.

Applicants Age Limitation:  Maximum age for Assistant Professor  post (as on 1/7/12) should not exceed 35 years.

Selection Procedure: Initially there will be a Written Test , then the selected candidates will be called up for the face to face Interview

Applicants Age Limitation:  Maximum age for Assistant Professor postwith Contract Basis (as on 1/7/12) should not exceed 3o years.
