State Bank Of India (SBI) has issued notification to applicants for recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers post for SBI Group in the year 2012. In all there are 514 vacancies under different categories. The candidates who are interested can apply through online.

Qualification required: The Applicant must have a Degree / B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / CA / PG / M.Phil from a Recognized University in a relevant form in the disciplined way.
Age Details: The candidate should be atleast 21 years of age and not exceeding the age of 40 years on and before 8/10/2012.
Last date for application: On or before 28-10-2012
Process of applying: The Applicant can pay fees through Online or Ofline method, according to their convinience. Initially they have to download the application form through the link, which is mentioned below: Dowload the application form here
Then they have to fill up all the details in the form with scanned copy of their Signature and Photograph and submit the form through online method, then they will get the Registration ID and Password and should carefully retain it.Then they have to select the option online, if they want to make the payment through Online process. They have to make payments through Debit card /Credit Card or Internet Banking. then after that they should get the printout of Computer generated e-receipt.
Date for making Online fee payment: Between 08-10-2012 to 28-10-2012
In case if the applicant have to make the payment through Offline method then he has to take the challan from the site and then have to fill up all the details and then should send by means of DD of Rs. 500/- (SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates Rs. 50/-)as Application fees and Intimation Charges to SBI.
Date for making offline fee payment: Between 10-10-2012 to 31-10-2012
Process of selection:
The candidates for the posts will be selected on the basis of
(1) shortlisting and interview or
(2) written tests and interviews, which will be later on decided by the recruiters of bank group themselves.The written tests, may be held at any of these places Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & TrivandrumVadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Kolkata,Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Jaipur, Pune, Dehradun, Jammu, Chennai, Centres.
