UPSC CDS I Recruitment - Apply Online for 509 Vacancies - 2013

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites the online applications for the recruitment of 509 various vacancies under different categories. Eligible Candidates who are interested for following vacancies, can apply through online as on or before 10th December 2012.
All the details Such as Categories of the posts, Age Limit, Eligibility Criteria, Admit Card, Educational Qualification, Syllabus, Exam Date, Papers, Exam Center, Application Form, Apply Online, Selection Procedure, Result and other details of UPSC CDS Exam are given below:-
UPSC Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination I details:
Number of vacant seats: 509
Categories of the vacant seats:
Air Force Academy: 32 Vacancies.
Indian Naval Academy: 40 Vacancies.
Officers Training Academy (Women): 12 Vacancies.
Officers Training Academy (Men): 175 Vacancies.
Indian Military Academy: 250 Vacancies.
UPSC CDS Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
Educational Qualification required -
The applicant should have Degree in Engineering for Indian Naval Academy post.
For Air Force Academy post he should have Degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
And he should possess Degree from a recognized University for IMA, Officers’ Training Academy post.

UPSC CDS 1 2013 Exam Date - UPSC written examination date will be announced later on as it is not published yet. It will be informed as soon as it will be known. The examination will be held in 2013.
UPSC CDS Syllabus:- The syllabus for written examination of UPSC CDS is updated. Required Candidates who are going to prepare for the UPSC CDS can get the details of syllabus from the notification.
Fee details for UPSC CDS Exam Application:- Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- as application fee for General and OBC candidates and there is fee exemption for SC/ST and Female candidates.Candidates need to pay fees in cash to any State Bank of India branch or he can use online method for paying fees by debit or credit card or Visa/Master card of SBI or any other subsidiaries of SBI.
Process for Application:
Initially he has to visit the site by clicking on the link given below download application form fill in all the details attach their scanned photo copies and attest his signature and make the payment and submit it on or before 10-12-2012.

Process of Selection for UPSC CDS Exam:- Candidate will be selected on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test, Eligibility Test, Written test, Medical Examination Written test, & Interview as mentioned in notification by UPSC.
UPSC CDS 2 Exam Admit Card 2012:- Candidates who applied for the UPSC CDS Exam can download their admit card from the official website of UPSC. Candidates must have their admit card during written exam.
UPSC CDS Exam Important Dates:-
10th November 2012 - Starting Date for Online Registration.
10th Decaember 2012 - Last Date for Online Application.
17-02-2013 - Date of Examination.
